Today’s video is a flat-lay style, top-down shoot where I wanted to test something a little different — can the Fujifilm X-Half actually be used for commercial work?
I’ve been using the Fujifilm X-Half for about a month now and honestly I’m genuinely impressed with the image quality. It’s not a camera I would normally reach for on paid projects, but pairing it with proper film lighting and a controlled flat-lay setup completely changed my expectations.
The Zhiyun lights used here were dialled down between 1–5% power and still produced beautifully soft, controlled lighting — perfect for e-commerce images, social media campaigns, and creator product reviews.

Fujifilm X-Half Results
The images shown are straight-out-of-camera JPEGs — the X-Half doesn’t shoot RAW — and I purposely left the date stamp visible to show these are genuine results from a real commercial-style test shoot.
If you’re building your own YouTube flat-lay review channel or want to learn more about lighting setups, leave me a comment on the video and I’ll happily make more tutorials around this workflow.
