What “optical modules” actually mean
DxO uses camera/lens-specific correction profiles (optical modules). When supported, PureRAW can apply corrections that help clean up distortion, vignetting, softness and other optical issues before you edit.
Lens-specific corrections
Corrections are built for specific lenses (often even at different focal lengths), so results can look more accurate than generic profiles.
